One of the most stunning regions in the area is the wide meadow of Kush Kalyan.
It takes two days through thick forest and age old mountain villages to reach Kush Kalyan.

Uttarkashi is located at 1158m in Western Garhwal. The Bhagirathi river which is later referred as the Ganga flows past the town. A little above Uttarkashi is the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
Kush Kalyan is one of the largest bugyals in Garhwal. Right through the summer months its home to shepherds who arrive in large numbers with their flock. In the month of August the higher reaches of the region see the Brahma Kamal flowering in abundance.
Kush Kalyan meadows offer a dramatic mountain view of the twin peaks of Bandarpunch, multiple peak in the Gangotri region and the adjacent peaks of Jaonli and Draupti Ka Danda.
Celebrate the end of the trek in Landour on the outskirts of Mussoorie
The first night on the trek is at Kuflon Basics located adjacent to Uttarkashi.
The last night of the trek is at Rokeby Manor located in Landour adjacent to Mussoorie
