DRUK PATH

TREK

The Druk Path Trek follows the ancient and the shortest high level route between Paro and Thimpu. The five day trek skirts past several remote villages, lakes and passes giving an insight to the beauty of the forest and general mountain landscape. Trekking  past ruined Dzong's bring in flavour unique to Bhutan. On a clear day one can get breathtaking views to the north where Jomolhari peak is dominant.

A trek in Bhutan is part  of the overall experience and one is drawn to its unique culture  which has been ferociously preserved over the years. It is also most interesting to understand first hand  about the 72 parameters through which it is tracked.
