EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK
Due to the draw of Mt. Everest and the history associated with many years of climbing the trek to EBC is possibility considered the world’s most popular trek. The highlights of this trek include a walk through of multiple Sherpa villages, trek to EBC and the climb of Kala Pathar to get a close view of the Everest peak. Juniper’s carefully designed itinerary includes a stop at Dughla to build a safe acclimatisation schedule which is the key to any successful trek in the Everest region. On the way to EBC we pass villages of Namche, Khumjung and Thyangboche monastery. All nights are spent in lodges hand picked by Juniper. There is flexibility in the itinerary to return via helicopter through a supplementary charge and summit Island peak.
