GOKYO LAKES

TREK

The Gokyo Lake trek involves a 115 km’s up and down and is considered as an alternative to the Everest Base Camp Trek (EBC). The view of Everest from Gokyo Lakes is distant as compared to the EBC trek but is a lot more grander. The six lakes around Gokyo greatly enhance the beauty of the region and the third lake which is adjacent to Gokyo town is the largest lake of the six lakes. The Gokyo trail is not as crowded as the EBC route and the lodges too in multiple locations are very well developed. In all our group was convinced that
Gokyo was a most interesting objective.
