The Green Lake is a 90 km long trek leading to the basecamp of the mighty Kanchenjunga. Passing through some extraordinary landscapes in the heart of the Himalayas, full with dense rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, endless glaciers and a view of the Himalayan peaks that simply cannot be compromised, this trek is a must for the passionate trekker. It ends at the base of the holiest peak in Sikkim, regarded as the main protector of the eastern Himalayan state which shares it’s borders with Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
